Having a huge passion for food, Lizzie has had a varied career in many aspects of the food industry in both retail and foodservice.
After qualifying at University College Birmingham in 1989 she started her career at Safeway as a Home Economist, developing their own label lines, following a critical path from concept to launch, including benchmarking, pack and recipe instructions and food styling.
Subsequently, Lizzie worked as a Product Development Manager for Somerfield, a Foodservice Advisor for McDougalls Catering Foods. Also, Premier Foods, British Gas, Philadelphia, Virgin Airlines, LSG Sky and Brakes.
She is currently working for Quorn Foods, promoting healthy eating and its versatility to a wide range of people in the catering industry including school caterers, menu planners and executive chefs. Developing recipes for both Education and Contract Caterers, visiting schools, universities and hospitals.
Other experience as a Customer Care Manager for Tillmans, launching new products into the UK from Germany.
As a committee member for LACA London & Southeast Region supporting school caterers.
Positive team player who loves a challenge. Lizzie has specialist knowledge of Education, Contract Catering and Directors’ Dining.
